THE CHEAPEST hotel in Tokyo
Have you ever heard of a Capsule hotel?
This hotel is designed to accommodate a large amount of people in an extremely small rooms (capsules).
I am always interested to try new and weird things so when I was travelling to Tokyo I decided to stay in 9 hours Capsule hotel in Shinjuku.
The hotel looks like it has come straight out of a sci-fi! The area, the design of the capsules, instructions on the walls and even the lighting gives a very futuristic appearance.:-)
The Capsule hotel provides a towel, a toothbrush with a small toothpaste, a shower cap, slippers and even pyjamas (yes, you heard correctly 🙂 )
In addition, every shower has toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel.
Each capsule contains a bed, a light, wall socket and air (don’t worry you can breathe inside).
Showers are completely private -it can be locked and there is also a space to put your stuff which it makes very comfortable.
Public shower areas have huge mirrors, wall sockets to charge your phone and hair dryer – simply everything that every woman needs. 🙂
You can feel fresh and clean
The Capsule hotel in Shinjuku has separated floors for men and women. The rest area is near the reception.
This style of accommodation is perfect for one day.
However, if you are planning to stay longer, be aware that you have to check out by 10 am and check in is from 1 pm every day.
The size of the cabinet is in the picture. I was a bit worried about my luggage size that it wouldn’t fit but finally all good!
It is always better to pack light or use compression bags to reduce the size of your luggage.
The more travel experience I have, the more I understand how many things are actually necessary and how many items I just don’t need at all! 🙂
