Do you have days when you just feel down and not want to do anything? Sometimes we can feel down for no reason. It happens by imagining scenarios in your head that might not be relevant to your situation. There are some tricks how to start feeling good.
Even though you don’t feel like smiling right now, based on studies if you start smiling and hold this smile for few minutes it will release chemicals and emotions in your body that will make you feel better. Try it and you will see that you might start laughing after while or just feel way better.
If it is not working for some reason, don’t push it and just do a little exercise with your mouth. Stretch your face, put your tongue out or do some fun face expression.
Change your posture
By changing your posture it helps you to shift your state of mind and feel better. Try a wonder women posture. Stand straight, raise your chin and put your arms on your hips, set your shoulders back and hold in this position for at least 30 seconds. You will start feeling more confident and less negative than before.
Do you feel stuck in mind, overwhelmed or tired? Just stand and jump. You will get your blood flows again and distract yourself from a stuck mind.
Find pictures/photos that make you happy
Have your favourite photos with nice memories close to you. You don’t have to have them in front of your eyes all the time as it gets weaker and then you might not feel that strong emotion when you look at them as before. You can keep them in a folder or in a box and anytime you look at them try to connect to that great feels.
Turn music on and dance
Do you feel negative and complaining? Maybe you feel like not doing anything that requires thinking? Just turn music on. Find your favourite songs or try something new and dance, enjoy it, feel it, dance it out. Feel the joy, get into that flow. It will be also beneficial for your body.
It is ok to sometimes have negative thoughts. However, don’t be stuck in your negative mood for too long. There is no reason to live your life in a dark zone.
We are creators of our life and we can choose how to feel. It takes time to learn and overcome it but the more you go into your subconsciousness the more you will explore about yourself and find out what makes you truly happy so that you will have these moments of sudden negative feelings just occasionally.
