How to Feel Instantly Great

Be happy in a few minutes

Do you have days when you just feel down and not want to do anything? Sometimes we can feel down for no reason. It happens by imagining scenarios in your head that might not be relevant to your situation. There are some tricks how to start feeling good. 

Start smiling

Even though you don’t feel like smiling right now, based on studies if you start smiling and hold this smile for a few minutes. It will release chemicals and emotions in your body that will make you feel better. Try it and you will see that you might start laughing after a while or just feel way better.

If it is not working for some reason, don’t push it and just do a little exercise with your mouth. Stretch your face, put your tongue out or do some fun facial expressions.

Change your posture

Changing your posture helps you to shift your state of mind and feel better. Try a wonder woman posture. Stand straight, raise your chin and put your arms on your hips, set your shoulders back and hold in this position for at least 30 seconds. You will start feeling more confident and less negative than before.

Jump

Do you feel stuck in your mind, overwhelmed or tired? Just stand and jump. You will get your blood flowing again and distract yourself from being stuck. Even though it might feel like crazy in the beginning, you will start to like it after a while.

Find pictures/photos that make you happy

Have your favourite photos with nice memories close to you. You don’t have to have them in front of your eyes all the time as it gets weaker and then you might not feel that strong emotion when you look at them as before. You can keep them in a folder or in a box and anytime you look at them try to connect to that great feels. It releases your good memories and it will change your mood. 

Turn music on and dance

Do you feel negative and complain? Maybe you feel like not doing anything that requires thinking? Just turn the music on. Find your favourite songs or try something new and dance, enjoy it, feel it, dance it out. Feel the joy, get into that flow. It will be also beneficial for your body.

Have fun

 

It is ok to have negative thoughts occasionally. However, don’t be stuck in your negative mood for too long. There is no reason to live your life in a dark zone.

We are creators of our life and we can choose how to feel. It takes time to learn and overcome it but the more you go into your subconsciousness the more you will explore about yourself. Then you will find out what makes you truly happy so that you will have these moments of sudden negative feelings just occasionally.
