Smoked Trout with Buckwheat and Veggies

This recipe is healthy and easy to prepare. It can be a light lunch or dinner. For all lovers of cold cuisine. You can keep it refrigerated and then just eat straight from the fridge without reheating. I have created a recipe designed for 2 people.

Ingredients

  • 200g buckwheat
  • Bunch of coriander
  • 150-200g smoked trout
  • Black Sesame seeds
  • Half pack of Coleslaw salad
  • A couple of leaves of lettuce
  • 2-3 spoons of plain yogurt

Method

Firstly, cook buckwheat. It is super easy to prepare, just cook it for one minute and then leave it for 15-20 minutes. You can prepare the buckwheat earlier to save your time and then when you are hungry just mix up the other ingredients. When your buckwheat is ready, add coleslaw salad, lettuce and trout. Then  put 2-3 spoons of plain yogurt and just mix all together. At the end add coriander leaves and sprinkle sesame seeds on the top .  That’s it!

Tip!  When cooking a buckwheat, don’t use too much water as you don’t need to remove the water afterwards. It will naturally soak up after it is ready.

To make a little enhancement, add some lemon on a trout.
